On the 13th of December 2011, Taf had the honor to host in Athens the Out of the Box project of La Marzocco at Technopolis in Gazi!

It was an all day event with particular interest for coffee people that included workshops, presentations on issues concerning La Marzocco espresso machines and issues regarding the Greek as well as the global specialty coffee market!

More specifically, Andrea Curtarelli, La Marzocco Export Area Manager, presented the company La Marzocco, Ken Olson, Barista Magazine publisher, presented the history and evolution of coffee advertising, Yiannis Taloumis presented the 3rd Wave Espresso Bar, Ettore Scagliola, La Marzocco Technical & Training Coordinator presented Pressure Profiling and finally Stefanos Domatiotis some barista tips.

During the day, visitors had the opportunity to participate at the barista jam, tested the La Marzocco espresso machines, learned more about the last technological innovations regarding the machines and learned more about the new trends of specialty coffee in Greece.

During the event, the artist Eva Konstantinidou presented her work “food and coffee” and played music!
The day ended with a party…
